Following the release of the World Bank Report entitled "Assessment of Restrictions on Palestinian Water Sector Development" the response of the water authorities and considerable media attention, FoEME led an important water discussion on the issues.
The session entitled "Trans-boundary Water Management: The Israeli-Palestinian Case" took place at the Jerusalem Convention Center on May 27th at 11:30, as part of the Jerusalem Environment and Nature Conference, an annual event organized by the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel.
This session, chaired by FoEME, brought together speakers from the World Bank, the Israeli Water Authority, the Palestinian Water Authority and academia. Although the SPNI annual conference is held in Hebrew, this particular session was held in English.
